Koch & Co., Inc. was founded in 1989 by Jim, Dan, and Fred Koch as a kitchen cabinet, interior and exterior door manufacturer. The focus of the kitchen cabinet division was to produce a quality semi-custom product at an affordable price point. The decision to make the Koch "niche" provided the impetus for the growth of the company.
Today, Koch & Co. employs 300 personnel manufacturing cabinets, custom wood doors, and the Formanek Exterior Door, maintaining the tradition and craftsmanship of the Koch family.

| Every Koch Door goes through a 3-stage sanding process - the last stage of which a thorough inspection and sanding by hand to eliminate the cross-grain scratches that automated sanding machines make. By removing these blemishes, we give you a clean door that is virtually ready to stain and finish with minimal follow-up sanding. In addition, doors are examined under ultra violet light so that glue residue can be spotted and removed before shipment. All this extra care sets us apart from others in the industry and reduces the time and expense of on-site work. |
